TDC supports WestBridge investment into cloud and IP specialist, Techex
TDC is pleased to announce that it has supported WestBridge’s latest investment into Techex, the UK’s leading broadcast design architect for live cloud and IP broadcast solutions.
Headquartered in Bracknell and established in 1971, Techex has developed into a niche market leader in designing, processing, commissioning and supporting live video transport, redundancy, and monitoring solutions, leveraging its own IP and relationships with its customers which comprise strategic Tier-1+ broadcasters and media giants.
The flexible funding package provided by TDC will enable Techex to invest in growth by developing its existing management team, grow talent across the organisation and expand its services geographically. The unitranche facility includes committed follow-on capital for further M&A and corporate development.
Techex’s management team, led by managing director, Richard Bailey, will remain actively involved and will be joined by non-executive chair, Mark Sutherland, and new interim finance director, Dominic Ely.
The WestBridge deal team comprised Tim Whittard, James MacLeay, Rory Whitrow, Rebecca Sinclair, Valerie Kendall and Guy Davies.
