11/09/2018

Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) has been shortlisted for five accolades at this year’s North West Dealmakers:

  • Alternative Finance Provider of the Year
  • Deal of the Year Sub £10m
  • Deal of the Year £10m to £50m
  • Deal of the Year over £50m
  • Dealmaker of the Year for Gary Davison, Partner

The regional awards celebrate excellence in the corporate finance and deal making community, recognising those supporting UK businesses and helping to build thriving economies through investment and growth.

The £50m+ category also includes the successful sale of de Poel Group to MSX International, a portfolio company of Bain Capital, for a value in-excess of £100m. TDC debt funded an MBO of the business in 2016 which facilitated a significant growth in equity value during the 16-month period of investment.

The North West Dealmakers add to an outstanding year of accolades for TDC, including being crowned top regional funder for the second consecutive year at the Rainmaker Awards and being named as a finalist for New Business of the Year at the 2018 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.

Richard Williams, Partner at TDC, said: “It’s been an incredible 12 months for us as we reached c.£320m in total capital raised and continued to strengthen our portfolio, our Manchester-based team, and presence within regional markets, delivering six new deals with a total debt value of £82.7m. During the period we also made three successful exits and expanded the team to 10 people.”

“We have a clear focus on the Northern Powerhouse and it’s rewarding to have our efforts recognised by the professional community, especially those within the region.”

This year’s Dealmakers Awards evening will be held at Manchester Central on Thursday 18th October.
