TDC celebrates hat-trick with third consecutive Rainmaker nomination
Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) is in the running for its third consecutive Funder of the Year award, after successfully winning the same accolade in both 2018 and 2017.
The North West Rainmaker Awards, hosted by TheBusinessDesk, celebrate the region’s most successful corporate finance teams, individuals and deals delivered during the last 12 months.
The nomination comes just days after being shortlisted for Deal of the Year (£10m+) at Insider Media’s Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards for our investment into Senior Architectural Systems to support its MBO.
The last 12 months marked another significant year for TDC, as we continued to deliver complementary debt funding options to regional markets outside of London, and particularly those across the Northern Powerhouse, to support and drive entrepreneurial ambitions and growth.
We’ve a clear commitment towards regional marketplaces and have been instrumental in both attracting and delivering significant levels of investment into SMEs that were previously underserviced.

“Major milestones throughout 2018 and 2019 include supporting the recent merger of Catalyst Development Ltd with Sionic Advisors and providing an £undisclosed investment into Eden Futures, a specialist provider of supported living services, to expand its national footprint and drive growth in underserviced regions, including the North West.
“In addition to numerous successful exits, each delivering growth for shareholders and investors, we continued to strengthen our highly experienced and regionally-based team with numerous hires and internal promotions, whilst committing to a growing number of diverse community partnership programmes to ensure our influence stretches beyond our portfolio and into the areas within which we operate, to deliver a lasting positive legacy.”
The North West Rainmaker Awards 2019 winners will be announced on Thursday 20th June.
