TDC backs CBPE’s strategic investment in Tetra Consulting

TDC has provided financing to support CBPE’s majority investment in Tetra Consulting (Tetra), a market-leading provider of property risk management services and software.
The investment, made alongside Tetra’s management team, will enhance Tetra’s market leadership and support its growth through strategic investment in service expansion and technological development.
Founded in 1998, Tetra provides expert advice and training to the UK’s largest managing agents and property owners across health & safety, fire, building safety, water, and asbestos. Headquartered in London, the company operates nationally through its team of fully employed consultants, and now employs over 200 people across the UK.
A key differentiator in Tetra’s service delivery is its proprietary risk management platform, PRISM – a modern, cloud-based solution that enables customers and consultants to manage regulatory “Golden Thread” requirements and streamline internal property management workflows.
Ben Lewis, Director at CBPE, said: “With increasing regulatory demands and a growing shift toward tech-enabled compliance, Tetra is exceptionally well placed to continue delivering for its clients. We’re excited to support the team in this next phase of growth.”
Jon Petty, Investment Director at TDC, said: “With its strong reputation, experienced leadership team, and commitment to innovation, Tetra is well positioned for continued success following the investment. We look forward to working alongside CBPE to support Tetra in expanding its service offering and continuing on its growth journey.”
CBPE’s investment in Tetra was led by Ben Lewis alongside Maximilian O’Connell, with support from Jolyon Latimer and Daniel Rossell. Ben Lewis and Maximilian O’Connell will join the Board post-completion.
The transaction was supported by KPMG (M&A), CMS (Legals), BDO (Debt Advisory), PwC (FDD, CDD, Tax & Structuring), GK Strategy (Political), Howden (Insurance), and Anthesis (ESG). Management was advised by Stevens & Bolton (Legals). TDC was advised by Addleshaw Goddard (Legals).
