Rob Hanley

Rob is an accountant with 18 years’ experience across debt advisory, restructuring and corporate banking having worked in both the London and Manchester markets.

Rob heads up TDC’s Portfolio and Risk team, managing credit risk across the entire portfolio working with Sponsors and Management Teams to generate and protect value, monitor performance, and deliver exit strategies.

Career History

Prior to TDC, Rob gained significant experience at international management consulting firm AlixPartners, working on high profile financial and operational restructuring assignments across a broad range of sectors and geographies.

Rob joined Grant Thornton’s Advisory and Restructuring team to focus on SMEs and mid-market corporates before spending two years at HSBC as a relationship director. As part of these roles, Rob has led transactions in the mid-market space, working with business owners, financial institutions, and private equity houses to deliver debt led solutions to support stakeholders.

Personal

Rob is a reluctant Everton season ticket holder, enjoys sport, exercising and spending time with his young family.
