Richard Williams

Richard co-founded TDC in 2015 and is a member of the TDC Investment Committee.

Richard has been integral to the establishment and growth of the TDC platform having raised over £1bn of investor capital across five funds, attracted from a range of investors including; British Business Bank and leading global investment firm KKR.

Richard enjoys a varied role within TDC which includes the entirety of the investment cycle, from fundraising activities, through to deal origination, underwriting and portfolio management. He is passionate about investing in and supporting mid-market businesses which are a key driver of the UK economy.

Career History

Richard is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ transactional experience and has worked across M&A, Debt Advisory and Banking both nationally and internationally. Richard was previously a founding member of the EY Debt Advisory team.

Personal

Richard enjoys travelling, exercising and spending time with his family. In his spare time, Richard enjoys supporting his local rugby club and coaching one of his son’s junior team.
