Gary Davison

TDC’s Managing Partner, Gary Davison, established TDC in 2015 and since that time has been instrumental in raising over £1.1bn of capital for investment in UK SME’s and Lower Mid-Market businesses. He drives TDC’s strategy and leads the growing investment and portfolio management teams alongside fundraising and investor relations. As head of TDC’s Investment Committee, Gary is also responsible for ensuring TDC maintains a high level of investment quality with consistency of decision making thereby ensuring the attainment of top decile investor returns through class leading portfolio management.

Career History

A former EY Corporate Finance Partner – and co-founder of the EY UK Debt Advisory business – Gary has experienced first hand the development of the Private Debt market over the past 20 years and its importance to the UK economy. TDC has successfully leveraged this experience to develop its strategy, expand its product offering and more recently attract transformational investment from the leading global investment firm – KKR – all from its Manchester base.

Gary’s career spans over 30 years in the UK corporate finance market, in both banking and financial advisory roles. In addition to this considerable Corporate Finance experience, Gary also has a career history in Corporate Banking with several blue-chip financial institutions, including RBS, Lloyds and Bank of Ireland.

Gary is a keen golfer, football supporter, music fan and travel enthusiast.
