Carnival spirit takes over TDC ahead of charity fundraiser
Plans are already underway to create another unforgettable Firecracker Ball and the team at Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) are proud to announce their second consecutive year of sponsorship for the charity event in Yorkshire.
Celebrating the world-famous Rio Carnival festival, this year’s theme hopes to ignite all those involved and surpass last year’s efforts, which saw more than £270,000 raised on behalf of Barnardo’s children’s charity. To date, the Firecracker Ball has raised more than £2.5m for charity, with all the funds going towards supporting children, young people, parents and carers in Yorkshire with services that include counselling, fostering, adoption, vocational training and disability inclusion.
Gary Davison, partner at TDC, commented: “Last year saw us transported down the rabbit hole to Alice in Wonderland and this year we’ll be host to a Brazilian Carnival. Whatever the theme, the Firecracker Ball never loses sight of its ultimate goal, which is to raise money for a fantastic cause that changes the lives of thousands of vulnerable young people.
“It is a privilege to pledge our support for the event once again and continue our commitment to supporting the regional economies in which we operate for the benefit of all those who live and work there.”
This year’s event takes place on Sunday 10 November at Rudding Park in Harrogate.
