TDC shortlisted for Alternative Finance Provider of the Year accolade

02/09/2019

Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) has been shortlisted for 2019’s Alternative Finance Provider of Year at Insider’s North West Dealmakers Awards.

2019 is the fourth consecutive year that the prestigious awards event has recognised the TDC team in the category. We won the award in 2018 and were Highly Commended in both 2017 and 2016, testament to our growing influence in the region.

The shortlisting follows a string of award wins and nominations in recent months, including retention of the North West Funder of the Year title at the Rainmaker Awards for the third consecutive year.

Recent deals have seen us back Great Annual Savings (GAS), enabling the cost-saving consultancy specialist to continue its impressive growth trajectory. Our institutional capital also enabled the merger of Catalyst Development Ltd with Sionic Advisors, creating one of the world’s largest specialist consulting firms with a combined revenue of more than $60m.

This recognition is a sign of support for our position as a committed regional lender. Partner Gary Davison says: “During the last four years, we’ve diverted £330m+ of capital away from a London-centric investment market into regional markets, and in particular the North West.

“Our strategy of investing into ambitious SMEs to support entrepreneurial growth has paid off thanks to the hard work and expertise of our skilled, home-grown team. We’re a Manchester business staffed by North West-based talent, and to be recognised by our peers means a great deal.”

The Insider Dealmakers Awards reward the efforts of those in the corporate finance field who are at the very top of their game. The event has come to be the biggest date in the region’s corporate finance calendar and this year’s ceremony is set to be larger than ever as organisers and attendees celebrate its 25th anniversary on 24th October.
